New Delhi, Jan 20, 2020, Monday

After removing Article 370 from Kashmir, not one but two ministers of the Modi government will go to Jammu and Kashmir at different stages by January 24 to give a message of development.

The BJP ministers' tour begins on January 18. However, the tour is also scheduled to be held in the state in the next two months along with the by-elections of the planned panchayat. Panchayat elections are to be held on 12776 seats in the state. The ministers may have reached Jammu and Kashmir by January 24, before the end of the war.

This will be the first election in Jammu and Kashmir after the removal of Article 370. Earlier, the panchayat elections held in 2018 were boycotted by the two major parties of the state, the PDP and the National Conference.

The ministers have also been asked to visit the countryside during the tour. However, in the Kashmir region, ministers will travel 8 and Jammu region will have 51 tours. The majority of the seats that are to be held are in the Kashmir area.
