Although Mamata had demanded Modi to be returned to CAA, NRC and CAA in this interview, Modi said that we will discuss this when we come to Delhi.

The meeting was held between Mamta and Modi at Raj Bhavan in Kolkata. Informing about this later, Mamata told the media that in this meeting with Modi, I have demanded the withdrawal of CAA, NRC and NPR. They have told me that you should come to Delhi and discuss this issue.

I also raised the issue of the financial center which is yet to be received from West Bengal. The central government is yet to give Rs 28,000 crore to the state government. Seven thousand crore rupees are also owed to the typhoon of hurricanes Mamata said, "I have stated in very clear words that I oppose NRC, CAA, NPA and it will not be implemented in the state."

When Mamata was asked what Modi had said in reply, Mamata said that Modi had said that he would examine the documents of the issue raised. The meeting is being held between Mamata and Modi at a time when Mamata refused to attend a meeting organized by the opposition on May 13 to protest the NRC, CAA.

However, Mamata later said that the CAA could only be implemented by the government on paper as we would not allow it to be implemented in West Bengal. However, there are claims that some leaders are calling for a fixing of the meeting between Narendra Modi and Mamata. Responding to this, TMC leader Derek O'Brien told reporters that there was nothing like fixing it, it was a general meeting and we will continue our CAA-NRC protest.
