Kashmir: Ice is the big enemy for army personnel, martyrdom for 74 soldiers in four years

Snow is proving to be a major enemy for Indian Army personnel deployed in Jammu and Kashmir.

In the last four years, 74 people have been martyred due to snow.

18 people died in 2016, 30 in 2018, 6 in 2018 and 20 in 2019 due to snowfall. Last year, five personnel were killed due to snowfall.

On the other hand, according to the International News Agency, 57 people have died and hundreds are still missing due to snowfall in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Hundreds of houses have also been destroyed.
