Kashmir: 100 survivors walked in the snow for four hours to rescue a pregnant woman

Indian Army is also helping the locals amidst the heavy lives lost during heavy snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir.

In one such case, 100 army personnel and 20 civilians walked for four hours to rescue a pregnant woman amid heavy snowfall. The four-hour drive took the woman to the hospital. Where he gave birth to a baby. Currently both baby and mother are healthy.

After receiving information about the incident, PM Modi tweeted and congratulated the Indian Army personnel. He said that the Indian Army is always respected for its valor and humanity. The army does everything possible to help people when they need it. We are proud of the army.
