Inflammatory speech: Anurag Thakur cannot campaign for 3 days and admission verma 4 days

New delhi date. 30 January 2020, Thursday

The Election Commission has banned campaigning for several days by Anurag Thakur and Pravesh Verma, two BJP leaders for making provocative speeches.

According to the details available, Modi government minister Anurag Thakur has been banned for three days and Admission Verma has been banned for four days. During this period, they cannot campaign for elections.

The Election Commission yesterday ordered the BJP leaders to be removed from the list of star campaigners with immediate effect. Earlier, BJP candidate Kapil Mishra, who made a catastrophic comment on anti-CAA protests in Shaheenbagh, has also been banned by the Election Commission for two days.

It is worth mentioning that, during the campaigning in Delhi, Anurag Thakur, Minister of State for Finance and Parliamentarian, had given a statement to the country or the Gadadars. On the other hand, Pravesh Verma compared Shaheenbagh with Kashmir, saying that the protesters would enter your house one day and rap your mother and sisters.

Subsequently, Admissions Verma refused to apologize for the statement. Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party had complained to the Election Commission against these two leaders.
