Indigenous Awareness Forum offended by Chinese company's involvement in 5G trial

New Delhi, Jan 1, 2020, Wednesday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government was angered by the indigenous vigilance forum involving the Chinese company Huawei in a 5G trial and publicly expressed their displeasure.

Swadeshi Jagran Manch is a branch of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Which recommends indigenous goods and indigenous technology. The forum was offended by a Chinese company participating in a 5G trial.

The forum, in a letter addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressed fears that participating in a 5G trial with a Chinese company could jeopardize the country's security and privacy. You have a reconsideration request for this decision.

Union Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on behalf of the government has disclosed that the 5G trial is open to anyone. No one can be prevented or stopped from participating in it.

It should be noted here that Huawei had previously banned the company's activity in the US by alleging that the US was spying on the company. There was a crackdown on US-China relations. In this regard, the Swadeshi Jagran Manch may have requested the central government not to go further.

However, now it seems that the Narendra Modi government has not counted the Swadeshi Jagran Manch protest.
