BJP candidate Kapil Mishra's statement has sparked controversy amid the ongoing election campaign for the Delhi assembly polls.
Kapil Mishra tweeted, saying there will be a war between India and Pakistan in Delhi on February 8.
After the polls on February 8, the results are to be announced on February 11. Earlier in Delhi, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party wrote a letter complaining to Kapil Mishra before the Election Commission. In which, it was alleged that Kapil Mishra had filed a false candidature. He did not submit a certificate of absence of light bill, water and telephone bill along with the candidature letter, but his form has been accepted.
Kapil Mishra had earlier been in the Aam Aadmi Party and was considered close to Kejriwal. He was also a minister. After he was removed from the office in 2017, he was hanged with Kejriwal. He officially joined the BJP in August.
