Hundreds of children have died in government hospitals in Rajasthan and Gujarat in the last one month. In a UNICEF report, the UNICEF report on the number of children giving birth to newborn babies and mothers in India has shown that 1.5 lakh children between the ages of 1 to 5 are killed in India every year. Nigeria has 1.2 million, while in Pakistan 1.5 million children are killed. One thousand children died in Nigeria, while 1 child died in Pakistan. The child mortality is higher than India but the highest number of child deaths are reported in India.

In India, one child is killed every 2 seconds. An average of 5 children are consumed every day with an average of 8 children. Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Nepal are better than India in terms of child motility. Although it is a relief that the rate of child maltreatment in India is reduced by 5% from 1 to 5, compared to other countries, the condition of child health is poor.

More than 200 million children in India suffer from malnutrition. Children are also victims of obesity due to lack of balanced diet and child care. Countries like Singapore, Bahrain, Denmark and New Zealand have the lowest child mortality rates. According to the information received, 4 out of every 1,000 children are killed in Madhya Pradesh which is the highest in the country.

In Assam, 3 died in Arunachal Pradesh and 3 in Uttar Pradesh. In Rajasthan, 8 children are killed during treatment. Surprisingly, child maltreatment in the states like Nagaland, Sikkim and Podicherry is much lower than in the states.

In Kerala and Goa, the death rate per 8 children is 5 children. The Government of India has a target of spending Rs 3,000 crore under nutrition campaign but only if the beneficiaries get access to the millions of people living in the remote areas, the child mortality rate can be reduced.
