In the Sultanganj area of ​​Bhagalpur, five accused convicted in the rape and murder of a 5-year-old boy were sentenced to life imprisonment by First Additional District and Sessions Judge Vinod Kumar Tiwari and fined Rs.

A woman from Sultanganj Police Station along with her nephew went to harvest outside in the morning of November 7. Meanwhile, the accused Shravan Yadav, Amarjit alias Kurra Yadav, Madan Yadav, Suren Yadav and Chandsi Yadav abducted Sagira by the weapon.

Women and minors were also beaten up to protest. The accused was on his way to Baha'iya, forcibly dragging Sagira.

The woman ran home and reported the incident to the family. Family members searched in Bahair while Sagira was found unconscious. He was injured by beating him up.

Sagira was taken to the Medical College Hospital for treatment where he died during treatment.

A complaint was lodged against the five accused at the Sultanganj police station on the statement of the women. The APP said that the post mortem was done by the Medical Board. The FSLA also investigated the incident site.

Doctors' reports confirmed the rape had been committed. The chargesheet was filed in court on January 5 after the five accused were sent to jail. The accused were granted bail from the High Court.

During the court hearing, 3 people were witnessed. Witnesses confirmed the incident. The statement of the three witnesses was recorded. The court sentenced both sides to life imprisonment on charges of gang-rape and murder.
