Police have uncovered a major international drug network in Punjab.
There was a drug trade from home in an area of Amritsar. A large quantity of drugs was recovered from the house after police raided it. The market value is estimated at Rs 1000 crore. There was a drug factory running in this house. From where 200 kg of drugs were seized. The factory wire is suspected to be linked to the Congress leader. Police have arrested 6 people in the raid.
Recently 75 kg of heroin was seized from 3 places in Punjab and weapons were recovered. All these drugs and weapons are believed to have been supplied from Pakistan.
At present, as fog spreads due to winter, India's efforts to impose drugs on the crop border are underway.
