Delhi: From today, JP Nadda will launch Jan Jagaran campaign

New Delhi Date: January 2, 2020, Thursday

The launch of Jan Jagran Prakash, the party's executive chairman Jagat Prakash Nadda, will launch today as part of a campaign to move people across the country on the issue of the new Citizenship Act (CAA).

The Kerala Legislative Assembly has already passed a proposal against this law. Other non-partisan states are also leaning against the law. The BJP decided to launch a Jan Jagran campaign to give the public a sense that this law does not apply to Indian citizens.

Nadda will be present at the program organized for the campaign at the Swaminarayan Temple compound in New Delhi this evening at 6 pm. In this twenty-day campaign, the BJP is supposed to go from house to house explaining the law to the people. The BJP also plans to hold a thousand rallies across the country and hold eight press conferences.

Rallies and intellectual meetings will be held in each district. Home Minister Amit Shah has been working closely with all this planning. On Wednesday evening, Amit Shah held talks with JP Nadda, Bhupendra Yadav and BL Santosh at Amit Shah's office and outlined various programs of the Jan Jagran campaign.

Apart from BJP leaders, BJP plans to participate in the program.
