According to information received, a total of 668 candidates were in the fray for 70 seats in the assembly.

Thus, there were 700 candidates. The Election Commission on Friday reported that there were more than 1,500 candidates. The Commission canceled all 830 nomination papers after scrutinizing them.
While some candidates withdrew their candidature on Friday, there were now 66 candidates left for 70 seats in the Delhi assembly.
