Deepika Padukone's 'Chhapak' stumbles at the box office

Despite the positive reviews of Deepika Padukone's much-hyped film 'Chhapak' Critics and Audience, the seventh-day collection statistics for the film are pointing to a commercial flop.

Deepika's film 'Chhapak' has finally failed at the box office. The film was based on the actual incident acid attack survivor Lammy Aggarwal. But after Deepika's visit to JNU, 'Chhapak' became a political issue. People have sought to bootcote 'Chhapak'. Now looking at the box office collection figures of the film, it is clear that the film business has been poor.

The seven-day film collection figures point to the film flop. At the end of the seven days, the film has made a business of only Rs 8.5 crore on Thursday. Which is pretty rare for an actress like Deepika. If you look at the figures for seven days, this movie will cost Rs. 1 crore box office collection.

Chhapak's budget is said to be around Rs 1 to 3 crore. For the first two or three days, the film seemed to be losing its investment in the week after watching the box office collection. But that didn't happen. From Rs 1 crore to Rs 2 on Film Weekdays. Could earn up to Rs 1 crore.
