Former finance minister Yashwant Sinha and others started a Gandhi yatra in Mumbai on Thursday to raise a referendum against the central government's CAA-NRC plan.
On both these issues, it was learned that the opposition is planning to protest in the name of Gandhi Yatra as the BJP is planning a nationwide awareness program.
Acting politician Shatrughan Sinha, NCP's Sharad Pawar, Congress leader and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan were also joined in the Mumbai tour.
The Gandhi journey will begin at Mumbai's Gateway of India and end at Gandhiji's tomb Rajghat in the capital city New Delhi.
