Bangladeshis attack BSF outpost within five km of border

In a shocking incident in Meghalaya, a mob targeted a BSF outpost and attacked it. The gang is suspected to be Bangladeshi nationals.

The mob also attacked two BSF jawans who looted their weapons at the outpost. One jawan was injured in the attack. The gang then entered the house of a Meghalaya man and looted cash, mobiles.

The incident took place around midnight on Wednesday in the area called West Jayantiya Hills. Bangladesh-India border is five kilometers away from this place. According to the police, the attack was carried out by 10 to 15 Bangladeshi nationals. The weapons he had stolen from BSF personnel were later found in a nearby forest.
