An important meeting of the Policy Commission was found before the budget, PM discussed with economists

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with economists and experts in the Policy Commission to discuss ways to stimulate economic growth and discuss the state of the economy. The meeting took place at a time when economic growth is expected to be below 5% in the current financial year.

Apart from Home Minister Amit Shah and other ministers, Deputy Commissioner of the Policy Rajiv Kumar, Chief Executive Officer Amitabh Kant and other senior officials were present in the meeting. Vivek Debroy, chairman of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council, has also joined the government in drafting a budget proposal for 2020-21. This meeting is considered very important.
