Amazon CEO Jeff Bejos visits India, visits Mahatma Gandhi Memorial

Jeff Bejos, the richest man in the world and CEO of Amazon Inc., is in India. After coming to India, he visited the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial in Rajghat of Delhi and paid tribute to Bapu. He also posted a video of this on his Twitter account. Jeff Bejos is likely to meet Prime Minister Modi.

Bejos, dressed in white kurtas and orange jackets, were seen in a full Indian outfit. He tweeted that after paying homage to Mahatma Gandhi in Rajghat, he had reached India a while back, paying homage to the person who actually changed the world.

Bejos has arrived in India to attend a two-day event organized by Amazon for small and medium businessmen. The program will start in Delhi on Wednesday. His visit comes at a time when the Competition Commission of India CCI is launching an investigation into rules violations against Amazon Inc. and Flipkart.
