Air India will be locked in six months if it is not received

Air India has a debt of Rs 60,000 crore and if there is no payload in the next six months, there is a risk that these government airlines will be locked up. In the coming days, the government will take steps towards finding private investors.

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri made an important statement on Air India issue. The Union Minister said that Air India has to be privatized at any cost. In the coming days, the Civil Aviation Ministry will begin the official process of acquiring investors. He said that the government does not want to set a deadline but it will take strong action in that direction as soon as possible.

A senior Air India official had claimed that if no pay was received in the next six months, there would be a call to shut down Air India. The report, quoting the official, said that 12 small planes were in a closed state. It requires funds to operate. If no investor is interested in buying Air India by June, then there will be no option but to close government airlines.

The senior official claimed that the airlines had explicitly refused to give extra funds. Due to this, low-budget air lines are under way. In such a scenario it would not be possible to operate the airline more often.

Air India has now demanded Rs 2400 crore for all flights operated by the government, but since the government has only guaranteed Rs 500 crore, the airline's financing has increased.
