A real time-worn gang for every patriot is in power: Chidambaram

Former finance minister and Congress leader P. Chidambaram has once again targeted the Modi government and said that democratically-run institutions are being weakened in the country. The only people sitting in power are the real… fragmented gangs… of the country.

He said that India ranks 10th in the democratic index. This is the result of crushing democracy. Democratic institutions are being suppressed. The whole world is in doubt as to what direction India is going. It's time for every patriotic Indian to worry.

It is worth mentioning that India has now fallen to 51st position in the democratic index. It has been marked by P. Chidambaram. The index is prepared by the Economist Intelligence Unit.
