82 citizens of JNU have no regard for citizenship: disclosure at RTI

For various reasons, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has been at the center of controversies for some time. One shocking revelation was recently made about JNU. There are at least 82 students associated with this university who have no record of nationality. No details are available about the country in which these people are from, where they have come from and what religion or religion they belong to.

This was revealed in an RTI petition filed by Sujit Kumar, a social worker in Kota area of ​​Rajasthan.

Sujit Kumar filed an application under RTI Act to inform the university about how many foreign students are present, which courses are registered and how many students are from JNU in the country.

As per the data provided by JNU, there are currently 301 students enrolled for 78 different courses. There are 219 students from 47 different countries. Such countries include Korea, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Syria, China, Germany and Nepal. But of these, there are 82 students whose university has no information about nationality. The entry forms contain the box that says "Record not available."

These 82 students are studying 41 different courses. Most students are studying in the sociology department. Lo, the university itself does not know where these students came from.
