Who will the Hindus vote in today's elections in Britain?

London Ta. December 12, 2019, Thursday

Political pundits were hoping that the Indian Hindus would vote for the Conservative Party in the elections on Thursday, December 12 in Britain.

The reason for this was also understandable. When the Indian government revoked Article 370 of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir on August 5th of this year, British Labor Party MP Jeremy Corbyn took an anti-India stance.

He did not like the attitude of the Hindu settlers at all. Hindus from the Indian tribe living in Britain were campaigning for pro-India leaders in this time of elections. Of the 40 seats which these Hindus campaigned for, most of the candidates were Indian favorites.

Kuldeep Singh Shekhawat, president of the British branch of the BJP, said that this time the Hindus of the Indian clan were more likely to vote for the Conservative Party.

He said that the Hindus were offended by the Labor Party's anti-India stance. Muslims of the Pakistani clan supported the Labor Party.

Dr. Rakib, who is known as a political researcher, said that this assumption is true. Due to the anti-India attitude of the Labor Party, most of the Indian nationals of Hindu descent were upset and they would not vote for the Labor Party. Muslims and Sikhs of Pakistani origin will be with the Labor Party.

Some Indians are also contesting this general election in Britain. There are 25 candidates from the Conservative Party, 13 from Labor, 12 from Brexit and eight from the Lib Dems.

Shekhawat further said that the promises made by the Conservative party were more in favor of the Indian side, while the Labor party's declaration had more anti-India futures.
