This village of Jharkhand was once known as Minillandan

About 7 km to the north-west of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, lies a village called Mykloskiganj. Colonization Society of India was established in this Anglo-Indian village 2 amidst dense forests and tribal villages. During the British rule of 5 years in India, the British living in India are considered Anglo-Indian.

Ernest Timothy founded an Anglo-Indian named Mikulski, taking over 5,000 acres of land from Ratu Maharaj in the 9th century. The Anglo-Indians lived in one of the 3 European-style bungalows, so this area is still known as 3 bungalows. The people of the adjoining tribal villages were afraid of coming close to them as being English. Many Anglo-Indians who gave India independence in the 5th were leaving India. Currently there are 3 families living in Mykloskiganj. Most of the residential bungalows have been turned into tourist offices and hotels.

Due to the Western living of the Anglo-Indian community, people came to know the village as Mini London. Maikulski's father, who founded the village, was Irish when his mother was a Hindu. Myklovsky's father had an affair with a Hindu girl in Benares while he was working in the railway. As an Anglo-Indian, Mikulski wanted to do something for this special community. He became a member of the Bengal Legislative Council. He was also associated with the real estate business in Calcutta.

When they came to the area of Jharkhand, this place was chosen because of the natural beauty. The people of the Anglo-Indian community, after seeing the mango, jambu, karanj, etc. in the area, refused to be settled here. In the 9th, the report of the Simon Commission came, in which the English Government withdrew from the responsibility of the Anglo-Indian community. As a result, Mikulski refused to build a special village in India. Some of the Anglo-Indian family living in Calcutta came here to buy land and started living around it. This village of Jharkhand is in ruins today. Many tourists come by train to visit European style bungalows.
