Successful test of BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from Chandipur in Odisha

The BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from Chandipur in Odisha was successfully tested on Tuesday morning. According to defense sources, the missile, which was capable of hitting the ground, was tested from a mobile autonomous launcher at 8.30 am at launch test complex 3 in the integrated test range in Chandipur.

According to a DRDO source, the missile capable of hitting ground to ground was successful. The test was successful on all criteria. The BrahMos missile's ability to hit mid-range can be launched from a war plane, ship or boat.

It is worth mentioning that QRSAM was tested from Chandipur test range in August this year. This modern missile was designed by the DRDO for the Indian Army.

BrahMos India's DRDO is a joint venture of Russia's NPOM. The missile will be useful to all five Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. On October 22, the Indian Air Force successfully tested the BrahMos missile from Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
