Sanjay Bhau Patole elected Maharashtra Assembly Speaker

Nanabhau Patole has been elected the Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. Pattabho Patole is the Congress MLA. Earlier, the BJP had withdrawn the name of its speaker candidate.

The BJP had proposed Kisan Kathore's name for the post but today withdrew Kisan Kathore's name before the Speaker was elected. By ten o'clock in the morning it was time to withdraw the name.

Minor patolee as non-competing speaker

The BJP said that a decision has been taken to ensure that the Speaker elections are held without looking at the opposition of the other party. Under which the meeting of all parties was held and this decision was taken. The BJP had deferred the election for the nomination of Speaker, and the younger Patole was elected unopposed. The younger Patole has also assumed the office of speaker.

Protem Speaker Dilip Valas Patil declared that the younger Patole has been elected as the unopposed speaker. After that, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray took Patole to the Speaker's chair. There were other leaders with them. Later in the debate, Uddhav Thackeray said that a small patole comes from a peasant family. So hopefully, they will work to bring justice to all.
