Supporting the Citizenship Bill, the Bahujan Samaj Party's Madhya Pradesh MLA Ramabai Parihar has fallen sharply.
Mayawati's party has suspended the MLA from the party. Mayawati said that the BSP is a disciplined party and immediate action is taken against those who violate party rules. In the same order, the party has been suspended from the party in favor of the citizenship bill on the Ramabai parihar.
Mayawati has said that she has been banned from participating in party programs.
It may be mentioned that the Ramabai Parivar publicly thanked PM Modi and Amit Shah for its citizenship bill and said that this decision should have been made long ago but no one was able to make such a decision before.
Like other opposition parties, the BSP is also protesting the citizenship bill as against the Constitution and divisive.
