Despite the overwhelming opposition from CAA and NRC, NPR is now coming

New Delhi Ta-21 Dec 2019, Saturday

Despite the overwhelming opposition from CAA and NRC, the central government was informed that it was committed to implement the scheme from April 2020.

The Home Department of the Center has sought the assistance of Rs 3,941 crore from the Central Government for the implementation of the scheme. The scheme was named the National Register of Population.

However, the state governments of West Bengal and Kerala had already started protesting against the scheme.

It should be noted here that after 1971, most infiltrators of the country of Bengal came to West Bengal than Assam. Each government, which was the state government of the party, made these intruders from outside their own votebank. So now that the intruders are fired, the political party and its leaders are more likely to lose in the elections.

The Kerala government's argument is that this is a move to implement the NRC from the back door so we will not let it succeed.

However, Modi's government is firm in the wake of this and, like the NRC and the CAA, it is ready to be implemented at any cost, government sources said, hiding their identity.
