Delhi Assembly elections will be announced at any time

The capital city of New Delhi was likely to be announced at any time at the election date.

The Election Commission convened a meeting this morning to review the situation. The decision will be taken to announce the date of the meeting, informed sources.

Besides the officials of the Delhi Branch of the Election Commission, the Chairman of the National Commission and his senior officers were also present in the meeting. Along with the police account, revenue account, income tax rebate and home department officials were also present.

According to one estimate, the dates of Delhi Assembly elections will be announced by this evening. Spokesmen of most political parties have been claiming that they are ready for this election for some time now.

In the recent elections, the BJP had beaten it well and lost the power of that state, so the possibility of Delhi Assembly elections being a real sport for the BJP does not rule out the possibility.
