Former finance minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram has been granted bail by the Supreme Court in the INX media case. Chidambaram will probably be out of Tihar jail today.
In August this year, the CBI arrested Chidambaram by jumping the wall at 8 pm. Chidambaram was arrested on the basis of the allegations made by another accused in the INX case and has been in jail since then.

The CBI had in court alleged that Chidambaram did not cooperate in the investigation.
He wastes time in legal pause while answering a question asked to him. Chidambaram's bail application was rejected by the lower court more than once.
