BJP should not win anywhere in the country, the opposition unites: Mamata

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee urged the people and the opposition as well as the civil society to join hands with the BJP. CAA and NRC protests held a huge rally in Purulia.

During which he said that I urge every citizen of the country, opposition, institutions, civil society to join hands to defeat BJP and unite and help each other to defeat BJP wherever possible.

As well as the citizenship law, Mamata Banerjee supported students who were protesting in West Bengal and across the country in protest against the atrocities committed against students in NRC and Jamia as well as other universities.

He urged the voters to make sure that your name is on the ballot list, we promise not to remove any citizen from this country.

Mamata had alleged that those who opposed the CAA and NRC were being shown to be anti-country which was not appropriate. The central government wants to take away the citizenship of those who are legal citizens of the country.

Mamata also announced that we will not allow NPR (National Population Register) to be implemented in West Bengal. Mamata Banerjee held a huge rally five km long and also opposed the CAA, NRC and now NPA and appealed to the opposition to unite.

Mamata also announced that my protest will continue till the Central Government withdraws the CAA and the NRC, as long as I live, I will not allow this CAA to be implemented in West Bengal. The Trinamool Congress, the Left parties and every other opposition Congress, organized rallies in various cities and districts in West Bengal, and opposed the CAA, NRC and NPA.
