Border Guard Bangladesh has arrested some people who were illegally infiltrating Bangladesh leaving India amid controversy over the Citizenship Research Bill. All those arrested were residing in the Moheshpur area of the Junaid district, bordering India and Bangladesh.
According to information available in this regard, there has been controversy all over the country regarding the citizenship research bill in India. Border Guard Bangladesh has arrested 350 people, including women and children, in the Moheshpur area of Zainaid district of India, near India and Bangladesh border, on the charge of illegal intrusion.
The infiltration in Bangladesh increased after the CAB was passed
The series has remained unchanged for the past one month. Some of them managed to sneak into Bangladesh by ignoring the sightings of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) soldiers. According to BGB officials, the number of people infiltrating into Bangladesh from India has increased greatly since CAB was passed in the Indian Parliament.
Came to India for a livelihood
According to BGB officials, the majority of those arrested claimed to have come to India to earn a living, but failed to provide solid evidence.
BGB Major Kamrul Islam said, "We have arranged a raid on the border." We take great care not to infiltrate anyone illegally, but because of the lack of fencing in many areas on the Indo-Bangladesh border, the border is open.
The incidence of intrusion increased in the last ten days
According to locals, illegal intruders often enter Bangladesh late or early in the morning. According to one local, the incidence of infiltration has increased significantly in the last ten days.
