The Central Narcotics Control Bureau of India has revealed the details of an international drug scam involving Rs 1300 crore heroin in which 100 crore heroin was seized in India and 1200 crore in Australia.
Nine Indians were also arrested in connection with this parcel. The scandal was seized by the concerted efforts of the Narcotics Control Bureau and other security forces.
A spokeswoman for the Narcotics Control Bureau said the scandal extends to India, New Delhi, Punjab, Maharashtra and Uttarakhand, as well as Canada, Australia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Colombia. As more detailed investigation is currently underway, more information cannot be released.
The nine arrested included five Indians, one American, two Nigerians and one Indonesian national.
