With the implementation of the new motor law, it earned Rs 577 crore

A fine of Rs 577 crore has been levied so far since the new Motor Vehicle Act, implemented from September 1, to tackle traffic problems such as traffic jams and accidents.

Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, while giving this information, said that till now 38 lakh currencies have been broken and a fine of Rs 577 crore has been recovered.

He presented this information in the Lok Sabha, adding that I had presented these figures on the basis of the currency sent to the court. I am providing this information based on the data available from the NIC.

From September 1 till now, there were 38 lakh 39 thousand 406 currencies in 1 8 States and Union Territories and the police recovered a total of Rs 577 crore, 51 lakh, 79 thousand 895 from people who violated the rules.
