Jharkhand Assembly has 81 seats. Of these, 42 seats were declared single-handedly by the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha had all but announced that the remaining 39 seats would be allotted to other parties. There are offers to give 32 seats to Congress and the Left Front and only seven seats to RJD. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha handed over the responsibility of persuading the Left Front.
