Inflation, based on October Futures, was down 0.16 percent. That's a three and a half year low. According to data released by the government, inflation based on inflation based on inflation declined in October due to falling prices of manufacturing items.

The wholesale price index (WPI) based inflation was 0.1% in June 2016. In September 2019, WPI-based inflation was 0.33 percent. In October, 2018, the inflation was 5.54 percent.

Vegetable prices increased by 38.91 percent in October. Vegetable prices increased by 19.43 percent in September.

According to experts, wholesale prices show that demand for manufacturing, metal and chemicals is still very low. The decline in WPI-based inflation and lower economic growth are likely to lead to lower RBI interest rates.

It is worth mentioning that yesterday, retail inflation figures were announced. According to data released yesterday, retail inflation was 4.62 per cent in October, showing the 16-month high.
