We will give Ajit Pawar two and a half years as Chief Minister: Shiv Sena

Shiv Sena has said that if Ajit Pawar is ready to return, we are ready to replace him as Maharashtra Chief Minister for two and a half years.

When Shiv Sena was ready to form a government in Maharashtra with the NCP and Congress on Saturday, Sharad Pawar's nephew Ajit Pawar joined hands with the BJP and took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister. With this, the politics of Maharashtra was disturbed.

The three parties - the NCP, the Congress and the Shiv Sena - attended the Supreme Court. When the case is scheduled to be heard on Monday, a Shiv Sena source informed that if Ajit Pawar is to come back, we are ready to give him the Maharashtra chief minister for two and a half years.

Meanwhile, the three parties have now kept their respective MLAs in different hotels and kept a keen eye on them so that the BJP could not buy them. Shiv Sena's Subhash Desai has been in touch with all the MLAs.
