We will bring Bengali laborers back from Kashmir: Mamata Banerjee

State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced to bring 131 Bengali laborers working in West Bengal to India after the recent brutal murder of five Bengali laborers in Jammu and Kashmir.

Talking to the media at an Eco Park on Friday, Mamatadidi said that we are going to work to bring back 131 Bengali laborers working in Jammu and Kashmir. The laborers are from Murshidabad, Dinajpur and Malda.

He further informed that two responsible officers of the state government have left for Kashmir. Our Bengali laborers will be brought back here safely by train. We are also sending police officers there to protect them.

The so-called terrorists threatened to evacuate their rented houses to Bengali laborers working in apple orchards in Kulgam. Five laborers were called out of their homes to kill Bengali workers and were killed.
