Uttar Pradesh police want leave

The holiday is now waning in the Uttar Pradesh police system, which has been continuously working on the Ayodhya dispute verdict. When the wedding season has begun, numerous policemen have reported that they have applied for leave under the pretext that they are going to get married.

In Lucknow alone, 200 policemen had applied for leave. The leave application at the police headquarters had been filled up, a police spokesman said. The Lagwini concoction was also attached to most of the leave applications.

There are 24 couples who are marrying themselves while the rest have applied for leave for the marriage of sons and daughters. A police spokeswoman said the leave of the couple who had been married to the police department was passed immediately and the police chief himself had agreed to attend the marriage.

The remaining applicants' applications were being considered. It is not a position to leave everyone at one go. The Lucknow police chief sought additional help from other police lines. It is customary to give one month leave to the police account for the wedding.
