Governor Bhagat Singh Koshari administered the oath to Uddhav Thackeray at a grand swearing-in ceremony at the historic Shivaji Park ground in Mumbai. With this, 59-year-old Uddhav Thackeray became the first minister of the family to become the Chief Minister.

Uddhav Thackeray bowed to the crowd in the midst of a crowd of thousands in the vast grounds of the Shivaji-Park, which had risen from the shrine of Jai Bhavani to Jai Shivaji. Thus, the Hindu heart was fulfilled by the dream of the late Shiv Sena's late President Balasaheb Thackeray as the Shiv Sena's chief minister in Maharashtra.

At the same time the struggle for forming a government in the state was ended for the last one month and the Mahaviks Ahadi, a coalition affiliate of the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress, took over the government of Tirangi. After taking the oath, Uddhav Thackeray performed the Siddhivinayak Darshan with his family and took down the aarti of Lord Ganesha. The funeral of Shiv Sena's president, Balasaheb Thackeray, was also performed here.

The big statue of Shivaji Maharaj is right behind the stage where the stage was made vivid for Saturday Peth. At the same time, a memorial was made to Balasaheb Thackeray.
