New Delhi: 25 November 2019, Monday

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshari gave the Supreme Court a sealed cover on which the Supreme Court may take any action on the unconfirmed political joke on Monday morning.

On Sunday, a Bench comprising Justice NV Raman, Justice Ashok Bhushan and Justice Sanjeev Khanna filed a petition to the NCP-Congress and the Shiv Sena challenging the Governor's decision to sworn Devendra Fadnavis as the Chief Minister.

The case is going to be heard by a rising court today. Despite the results of the Maharashtra Assembly elections on October 24, the Shiv Sena had refused to form a government with it, holding a 50-50 demand.
