Terrorist organizations still active in Pakistan, raising funds: US

According to a US report, Pakistan-based terrorist organizations Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish have been steadily withdrawing funding despite the Mohammedan United Nations sanctions, and the Pakistani government has failed to stop them.

The report prepared on the global state of terrorism also said that Pakistan did not succeed in preventing the recruitment of terrorists from these two organizations. It also allowed those affiliated with the terrorist organizations to contest.

The report cites Iran as one of the most promising countries in the world in terms of terrorism. It says al-Qaeda's existence remains unchanged. It aims to establish itself as the leader of the jihadist movement globally.

According to the military and Jaish, their threat remains unchanged in 2018 and both organizations have the capability and intention to attack the Indian and Afghan targets.
