SPG security bill introduced in Lok Sabha, family of former PM will not get security

The SPG security bill has been introduced in the central government. According to this new bill, SPG protection will not be provided to the family of the former PM.

PM's family will receive SPG protection while he is with the Prime Minister at his government residence. Former PM and his family will be given SPG protection for up to five years, but the family of East PM will be provided with SPG protection while he is living with former PM.
