Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand have the first snowfall of the season. In these states, the mountains are still experiencing heavy snowfall.
People are having trouble making our way in. Telephone services in Srinagar have been stalled. Tourists are happy to see snowfall in BG.
The Meteorological Department had predicted on Tuesday that snowfall could occur in Kashmir and Ladakh from November 5-8. Temperatures have dropped due to snowfall. The minus is recorded at 2.2 degrees.
Rohtang has also received snowfall in Himachal. Temperatures have dropped in most big cities including Shimla in Rajasthan. Shimla recorded 7.6 degrees and Manali recorded 2.8 degrees.
The first snowfall of the season was recorded in Gangotri in Uttarakhand. Badrinath and Hemkund Saheb also received snow.
