Sidhu wants to go back to Pakistan, seeks government approval

Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu has sought the Indian government's approval, expressing his desire to attend the opening ceremony of the Kartarpur corridor.

Earlier, the Imran Khan government has sent an invitation to Sidhu to attend the inauguration. The wife of Darmian Navjot Singh Sidhu also said that if the government gives permission, Sidhu will go to Pakistan. It is a great contribution and it is an honor for the Punjabis to visit Pakistan.

On October 31, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar said that anyone who wants to attend the inauguration ceremony of Pakistan will have to seek political approval.
