Parliamentarian Pragya Thakur's comments on Mahatma Gandhi's assassin, Nathuram Godse, caused a great deal of shock. The BJP has criticized Pragya Thakur for her remarks and has taken stern action against her.

The BJP expelled Pragya Thakur from the defense panel and also banned her from going to the parliamentary seat of the BJP. Rahul Gandhi, on the other hand, called Pragya Thakur a 'terror'. However, throughout the controversy Pragya Thakur defended himself saying that he did not tolerate insult to Udamsinh. The truth was lost in the whirlwind of untruths.

BJP MP Pragya Thakur from Bhopal on Wednesday created a huge controversy in Parliament, calling Nathuram Godse a patriot. Pragya Thakur's statement, along with the opposition, also showed great outrage at the BJP.

BJP's acting president J.P. Nadda said that the BJP was criticizing Pragya Thakur's comments. The party has never endorsed such statements. Taking action against Pragya Thakur for her statement, BJP expelled Pragya Thakur from the Defense Committee.

Pragya Thakur was recently inducted into the Defense Committee. The controversy was also created at that time. In addition to being expelled from the Defense Committee, the BJP has also banned from attending the party's parliamentary meeting during the winter session.

Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi slammed Pragya Thakur for terming Godse as a patriot and termed him a terrorist. Rahul tweeted, Prakash Pragya has called Godseye a patriot in Parliament. This is a sad day in the history of the Indian Parliament.

In a conversation with the media, Rahul said that Pragya Thakur is saying the same thing which is the soul of BJP and RSS. Prime Minister Modi may take the name of Mahatma Gandhi, whatever his name, but his soul can never be kept secret. It must come out anytime. Pragya Thakur has proved this.
