PM Modi and Amit Shah frighten opposition parties from 'trident': Congress

New Delhi, November 7, 2019, Thursday

Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has again attacked PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.

Ramesh said both the leaders were abusing their power. Modi and Shah have started using ED, CBI and Income Tax department as weapons to intimidate political opponents. Jairam Ramesh compared these three divisions with Shankar Bhagwan's weapon trident.

Talking to media in Assam, Ramesh said, "Now Modi and Shah have got a threesome to harass the opposition." The trident has three edges. Similarly, Modi and Amit Shah are using ED, CBI and Income Tax department as the three edges of the trident.

Congress has always opposed the wrongful use of these three sections. Congress trusts the country's constitution and believes in working accordingly.
