No agreement with India on Kulbhushan issue: Pak. Original color shown

Islamabad, Ta. November 14, 2019, Thursday

Pakistan has shown genuine color even after the International Court of Justice ordered Kulbhushan Jadhav's case to be renewed in a neutral manner. Pakistan said that Kulbhushan would be punished according to Pakistani law.

Officials of the Pakistan Army made a statement regarding Kulbhushan Jadhav saying that there was an inquiry into what provisions of the law could be punished according to the law. Immediately after that, Pakistan's Foreign Ministry said that no agreement was reached with India regarding Kulbhushan Jadhav and his punishment would be done according to Pakistani law.

Former Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav was hanged in 2017 on a fake espionage charge to Pakistan. After that, India knocked on the door of the International Court of Justice on the issue of Kulbhushan.

The international court had lashed out at Pakistan, saying that the case of Kulbhushan should be re-launched and that it was impartial as well as in keeping with international law. The international court also ordered Pakistan to advise Kulbhushan.

However, despite all the international court standards, Pakistan has now shown its true color. Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Faisal said there was no deal with India on the Kulbhushan Jadhav issue. Even after the suggestion of the International Court of Justice, Kulbhushan will be punished according to Pakistani law.
