Muslims should not be scared by Ayodhya verdict: Muslim Personal Board appeals

New delhi date. Saturday, November 2, 2019

Maulana Khalid Rashid Firangi Mahli, a senior member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, said Muslims need not fear the Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya's controversial land issue.

'This will be the most sensitive and largest verdict in Azad Hindustan. I appeal to the imams of all the mosques in the country to act in a manner that keeps the Hindu-Muslim Brotherhood and the Akhlas in full trust in the country's judiciary. Keep in mind that peace prevails in the country by obeying the law responsibly.

In a public statement on Friday, Maulana said there was speculation from the media report that the Supreme Court verdict was ready. As you all know, the Ayodhya issue is extremely sensitive and very important.

Not just India. The whole world is watching over this event. I appeal to the imams of all the mosques in the country to declare before the Jumma prayers that Muslims do not have to fear this judgment.

Whatever decision the Supreme Court brings, it respectfully accepts and cares for law and order and communal brotherhood. Do not organize any kind of celebration, slogans, forms or demonstrations. Avoid rude behavior that impairs one's religious sentiment. Remember that it is in the best interest of all to keep the communal unity of the country and the feeling of belonging.
