Mumbai fire rages, seven fire engines busy

Mumbai, November 1, 2019, Friday

Seven fire engines were engulfed in a fiery fire in a shop owned by a Muslim-majority Bhinde Bazar in the metropolitan city of Mumbai and were busy trying to extinguish the fire.

It was not known how the fire started, but it is believed that the short circuit may have caused the fire. The fire spread so fast that two cars and ten motorcycles parked on the road were burnt ashore.

The area is surrounded by densely populated and narrow streets, so fire crews or police or ambulances cannot move quickly. The fire brigade had difficulty in extinguishing the fire. Due to the extremely narrow and heavy congestion, the lambamba could not reach the fire shop, so the fire assumed a ferocious appearance.

Luckily no casualties or injuries were reported.
