More than 90 students arrested from fake US universities, most Indians

Washington, Ta. November 28, 2019, Thursday

US Federal Law Enforcement Agencies have arrested 90 foreign students who have taken admission to a fake university launched by the US government to prevent immigration fraud. Most of the students arrested are Indians.

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has so far arrested more than 250 students seeking admission to a fake university in Detroit. In March, ICE arrested 161 students from a fake university.

When the university closed in March, it had 600 students. Most of them were Indians. According to an ICE spokesman, 80 percent of the 250 lawmakers arrested so far have been allowed to leave the United States.

Half of the remaining 20 percent of students are ordered to leave the United States. Federal investigators have claimed that students who entered this fake university knew that it was a fake university, even though they had taken admission. The students already knew that there were no classes at the university.

Democrat senator and presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren called the move brutal. He said on Twitter that these students had dreamed of achieving high quality higher education in America. ICE cheated and trapped him in his trap only to be sent back to him.

The ICEA has filed a chargesheet against eight persons who have taken admission. Seven of them have admitted their guilt. Students seeking admission to the university had gone to the US legally on a legal visa issued by the US Embassy in India. The university collected a $ 2500 fee for a quarter.
