Kerala Women Thrill To Teach: At the age of 105, passed the fourth standard

An old woman from Kerala has proved that her passion for education has nothing to do with age. Amma was recently surprised by a one hundred and five year old female partner giving a fourth grade exam.

She will probably be the first woman in the world to take a primary school exam at such a young age. With the loss of parents at the age of just eight, the responsibility of the younger siblings came about.

At such a young age, they were married and became mothers of six children. After the husband died prematurely, the responsibility of raising six children was restored, so he could not share his passion for education.

Now, at the age of 105, he appeared in Kollam on Tuesday, taking his fourth class exam. Given his age, the dignitaries of the society had given him a question paper and answer pamphlets to celebrate his education.
